Travel through southern, northern and central part of Mongolia represents three different scenaries.

The Mongolian Gobi has high mountains, springs, sands, steppe lands and rich animal kingdom, and has been inhabited since ancient times. You will see there an eternally clear sky, blue mirages, golden sands and boundlessly expansive steppe lands.

The Gobi houses enormous wealth including numerous rare animal species: the mountain sheep, ibex, snow leopard, lynx, wild gazelles, saiga, wild camel, Gobi deer, fox and wolf.

In Central part of Mongolia you can see volcano named Khorgo in the Arkhangai Province of Mongolia. The Khorgo lies east pf the lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur and together they are the core of the Khorgo- Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park. 

In Northern part of Mongolia there is the second largest fresh water lake in the World, Khuvsgul covers an area of over 1300 square miles is the home of reindeer people and elevated over 1645 meters above the sea level. Known as the Dark Blue Pearl, Lake Khuvsgul is Mongolia’s largest and deepest lake. Located in northernmost province, it is the largest tributary stream of Lake Baikal Russia. 

Arrival in Ulaanbaatar transfer to hotel.

Half or full day tours are available depending on arrival time.

City tour: Visit National History Museum, Sukhbaatar Square located in the city center near Parliament house. Enjoy the traditional food with a brief introduction about Mongolian cuisine, and shops for local tour items and dinner, overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Baga Gazryn Chuluu huge stone massif located Dundgovi province and 15km long 10km wide granite stone-mountain elevated at 1768m above sea level. Surtiin am is one of many beautiful and eye-catching places in Baga Gazriin Stone massif. This is a narrow canyon with asp, birch, white wicker and elm trees, as well as ruins of an old temple dating from the 17th century.

After breakfast drive to Tsagaan Suvarga /White Stupa/ is located in the south west of the Dundgobi province.  It is interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, which from a distance seems to be the ruins of the ancient city. The cliff is 30 meters high and 100 meters wide.  Over the thousands of years the wind has created this amazing land.

After breakfast drive to South Gobi, Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park transfer to ger tourist camp. After lunch drive to the Eagle Valley or Yoliin Am for trek in the stunning landscape and a local natural museum for more information about the National Park and its animals as well as natural wonders. There are also some souvenir shops with gorgeous items and products made in Mongolia for sale next to the museum. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast drive to Khongor Sand dunes and enjoy the beauty of these stark landscapes and, for those who are feeling adventurous, climb to the top for fantastic views and enjoy real Mongolian Gobi nature and have a great opportunity to have wonderful pictures of Gobi. Visit local family,Camel trekking. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp.  B, L, D)

 

After breakfast drive to Bayan Zag where you can explore Ulaan Ereg or Flamming Cliffs and Roy Chapman Andrew’s trial. Made up of peaks and canyons in striking fiery red and orange sandstone, the Flaming Cliffs are a spectacular sight. The area is especially important thanks to the vast number of dinosaur fossils that have been found. Possibly, have an opportunity to find fossils of dinosaur. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast continue the journey to the banks of the Ongii River and view the atmospheric ruins of two monasteries – Barlim Khiid and Khutag monastery, comprising Ongi monastery , formerly one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia. . Lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast drive to Kharkhorin, Mongolia’s former capital city, was abandoned to the elements and destroyed until its remains were used to build Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia’s first Buddhist monastery. Lunch on the way. Arrive there late afternoon transfer to ger camp.

Dinner at the tourist camp, Overnight stay at camp.

After breakfast visit Erdenezuu monastery, Explore Great Kings’ Monument on the top of the hill. After lunch drive to Arkhangai Province, Tsenkher hot spring, Visit the Burial mounds on the way. Relaxing hiking, photographing, exploring around the place

After breakfast drive to Tsetserleg city-visit the local museum

Picnic will be served on the way, Taikhar Rock - A large rock stands out in the middle of a plain in Mongolia. The Taikhar chuluu is covered with inscriptions dating back as far as Turkic rule in Mongolia.  Chuluut River is flowing down through the valleys of the Khangai Mountains in central Mongolia.  It is 415 km long, the maximum depth is 3 m and flow in to Ider River. Late afternoon arrive in Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur .

After breakfast drive to Khorgo. Climb to Khorgo extinct volcano mountain. Enjoying flora of Khangai area and relax Great white lake.

After breakfast drive to Khuvsgul lake located in the northwest of Mongolia near the Russian border. It is 1,645 meters (5,397 feet) above sea level, 136 kilometers (85 miles) long and 262 meters (860 feet) deep. It is the second-most voluminous freshwater lake in Asia, and holds almost 70% of Mongolia's fresh water and 0.4% of all the fresh water in the world. Lunch on the way at the Murun city. Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

After breakfast whole day of relaxing: cycling, boating and enjoying the beautiful lakeside, trekking to the mountain for exploring, taking pictures, visit the reindeer family, horse trekking along the lake.

After breakfast visit the Bogd Khaan Winter Palace museum. Take tour to the Gobi cashmere factory for shopping for original and pure cashmere gifts and garments. Folk concert in the evening. Have farewell dinner
